HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, AD-HOC COMMITTEE ON PETROLEUM INDUSTRY BILL: NOTICE OF TWO-DAY PUBLIC HEARING

The Ad-hoc Committee on Petroleum Industry
Bill, wishes to invite the Stakeholders and
interested members of the general public to a
two-day Public Hearing on A Bill for an Act
to Provide Legal, Governance, Regulatory
and Fiscal Framework for the Nigerian
Petroleum Industry, the Development of
Host Communities and for Related Matters.

The Public Hearing is scheduled to hold as
follows:
Date: Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th
January, 2021.
Time: 10:00am daily
Venue: Conference Room 028, House of
Representatives, National Assembly
Complex, FCT Abuja.
The underlisted Stakeholders and interested
members of the general public, who have
submitted their Memoranda in respect of the
Bill, are by this notice, invited to attend and make
their presentation at the two-day Public Hearing.

Stakeholders are hereby informed that, submission
of memoranda is a condition precedent to
admittance to the venue of the Hearing and also
be reminded that, Wednesday, 20th January,
2021, is the deadline for the submission. Please
refer to our earlier publications of Monday, 28th
December, 2020, page 2, Vanguard Newspaper,
page 14, Daily Trust Newspaper and page 14,
Nation Newspaper.
In fulfiment of the Covid-19 protocol, only two
person for each Stakeholder, that have met the
requirement above, will be admitted to the Venue.
Participants are requested to pick up their entry
permit tag @ Meeting Room 327, House of
Representatives, National Assembly Complex,
FCT Abuja, on Monday, 25th January, 2021.
